Day 0: September 25

     2:30 PM – 3:45 PM   thinkAbout 101 in Old Hickory Steakhouse in Delta Atrium

     6:30 PM – 9:00 PM   Reception at Grand Old Opry Museum, next to Acuff Theatre

Get a primer on the Experience Economy at thinkAbout 101. It’s optional but highly recommended as important level-setting for the next two days – even if you’re an old-hand at thinkAbout. Then relax, mingle, and meet your fellow explorers that evening at the Grand Old Opry Museum. Stroll through the museum to check out the people, places, and performances that make the Opry the icon of country music it is.

Day 1: September 26

     7:00 AM – 8:00 AM     Breakfast on the Patio at Delta Island in the Delta Atrium

     8:30 AM – 11:00 AM   Kickoff at Acuff Theatre (a 15-minute group walk from hotel)

     11:00 AM – 5:30 PM   Provocation Stations at Gibson Showcase in Opry Mills

     5:30 PM – 10:00 PM   Barbeque, Bands, and Banter in downtown Nashville

Fuel up with breakfast before we walk to the Acuff Theatre for our exploration of the models that help frame the topic of authenticity. Then it’s on to the Gibson Showcase at the Opry Mills Mall for Provocation Stations and Learning Excursions throughout the afternoon. We finish with a dash to downtown Nashville for dinner, more learning, and fun at Legends – a classic Nashville honky-tonk. Please Note: once we depart in the morning, you will NOT have the opportunity to return to the hotel until late evening. Please plan accordingly!

Day 2: September 27

     7:30 AM – 8:30 AM     Breakfast on the Patio at Delta Island in the Delta Atrium

     9:00 AM – Noon           Open Space in Ryman Ballroom of Gaylord Convention Ctr

     Noon – 1:00 PM            Lunch at the Old Hickory Steakhouse in the Delta Atrium

     1:00 PM – 3:00 PM      Top 10 plus EMA & EXPY on Delta Pavilion in Delta Atrium

     4:00 PM – 9:30 PM     Optional Post-Event with thinkAbout jam in Delta Suite D6134

Following breakfast at the Delta Patio, we’ll head to the Ryman Ballroom for our Open Space debrief and discussion. We’ll break for lunch then officially wrap thinkAbout with our traditional Top 10 list of experiences to take in, closing with awarding our Experience Stager of the Year (EXPY) statuette to a premier experience stager, and including handing out our Experience Management Award (EMA) to a thinkAbout alumnus who exemplifies the principles of our ideas in his or her work.  For those staying for the optional Post-Event, we’ll have a suite available to hang out, decompress, and even take part in our first-ever thinkAbout jam. A great ending to a whirlwind experience!
